Course Description
Program Description Courses in the English Department are about learning to be observant and reflective readers and writers, thinkers and researchers. In other words, we teach core skills for a comprehensive college education. Educating students to respond with a breadth of knowledge and a disciplined imagination to the ideas of others is part of the English Department's larger commitment to a liberal arts education, whose aim, we like to say, is the creation of the thoughtful and engaged citizen. Students enrolled in this program may be eligible for a Co-operative Education designation. Co-operative Education involves alternating full-time academic and work terms. Note: Campus location may vary between years depending on program availability.
